We started Rugged Rubs out of a love for Pastrami, and BBQ in general. While most people have never had true home cooked Pastrami, it really is a game changer when you enjoy it fresh, at home, right out of the smoker.

It can be a daunting process, if you take a look anywhere online describing how to make it yourself, so we wanted to make an easy cheap way for people to get that fresh Pastrami at home, without the fear of screwing up a nice expensive piece of meat through trial and error. Soak n’ Smoke is born.
